Wayfa (https://www.wayfa.io) helps groups plan trips together. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how advertising works when you use the service. Use of Wayfa requires acceptance of these practices, including advertising cookies, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

Account information: email address, display name, sign-in provider, and profile preferences you provide in Account settings.

Trip content: trips, links, polls, itinerary items, tasks, notes, expenses, and related data you and your group create in workspaces you access.

Usage and device data: basic technical information such as browser type, IP address, and interactions needed to secure and operate the service.

Advertising data: when ads are enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize (where permitted), and measure ads.

We use your information to authenticate you, store and sync trip data, provide customer support, improve reliability, and—when enabled—display advertising that supports the free service.

We rely on service providers to operate Wayfa, including Firebase (authentication), MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), cloud infrastructure, and Google AdSense (advertising). These providers process data according to their own policies when acting on our behalf or as independent controllers for ad delivery.

We retain account and trip data while your account is active. You may delete your account from Account settings, which removes your profile and applies our account deletion rules to trip ownership.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. You can update profile details in Account settings or delete your account entirely. California residents may have additional rights regarding sale or sharing of personal information; we use advertising partners as described above.

Wayfa is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes may require renewed acceptance.
